[P] Collection list
This section allows you to show a list of collections to redirect your customers to your main categories efficiently:
Adding the section
To add this section, open the theme editor, click Add section, and select the Collection List section.
Supported blocks
This section supports one block type. You can add up to 50 blocks per section.
Supported options
- Showing text outside: by default, all the content (including the title and buttons) covers the collection image. You can optionally move the textual content outside the image by turning on the Show text outside setting in the section.
- Showing collection title: only the "View products" button will be displayed when adding a new collection. To show an extra text (such as the collection title), click on the block, and enter a text for the "Heading" setting.
Section guidelines
Do
- If the format of your collection images doesn't fit the section, override them on a per-block basis using the Image setting.
- Use this section on your home page to help your customers explore your main categories.
Don't
- While the section does not enforce any limit on the collections you can show, we recommend you don't show more than 9 collections to keep the experience simple. If you have more collections, use the navigation menu instead.
